Ugra is the "Association for the Promotion of Research in the Graphic Arts Industry". The association operates the "Swiss Center of Competence for Media and Printing Technology", which did overtake the printing, paper and packaging activities from EMPA St. Gallen and is an independent organization since January 1, 2005. Ugra operates from offices and laboratories within the EMPA building in St. Gallen. In order to point out that Ugra has a new orientation, this Website with a new logo and new offers has been generated.
